Irina started her career working as a tailor at a formal men’s clothing manufacturer. Those garments were sold in Romania and Germany. Irina then developed her skills as a designer working for retail stores selling women’s and children’s fashions. Through the years designing Irina has developed skill in clothing construction and fabric selection. Her knowledge allows her to understand how to perform clothing alterations that are so good you can’t tell anything has ever been altered. Irina has worked as a Tailor for over 20 years perfecting her craft. Since arriving in Canada Irina has also worked at these local alteration stores Altered Image, Stitch- It, David’s Bridal. Recently opening her own sewing studio “Irina’s Alterations” she can now offer her knowledge and experienced tailoring service to you in a comfortable quiet and personalized setting.
